Robin Lutz was born in New York City and grew up in Hudson, Ohio. She earned both a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master of Taxation from the University of Akron School of Accountancy. Robin worked for her mother, a CPA with her own practice, as well as Bober, Markey Fedorovich & Co. before moving to Wisconsin in 1994.
She’s served as Treasurer of the Fox Valley Big Brothers Big Sisters; been involved with Rotary International, the Oshkosh chapter of AFS-International Student Exchange, and several anti-poverty initiatives. She called Dublin, Ireland, her home for a while and speaks French (though she admits it’s a little rusty).
Work for Robin is rewarding and fulfilling when she finds tax solutions for her clients. She especially loves helping clients save taxes through planning. One of her favorite success scenarios in year-end planning is utilizing year(s) of low income to offset a large amount unrealized gains resulting in a minimal tax obligation.
Aside from tax and accounting work, Robin finds it interesting to testify in divorce cases, on issues related to income and taxation.
Robin is excited to add her talents to the firm’s resources, to get to know each client she works with as an individual, and discover the unique solution required to save each one time and money.
